Yesterday I received the final draft of the book. It was the completed book itself and the moment was emotional. To hold in my hand the accumlation of months of work seemed unreal. Beautiful. Tate Publishing did a great job. I am very pleased and I had to lift my hands to Heaven and tell God, thank you.
My mind is working a mile a minute now as I visualize the book in hands of others. My deepest prayer is that this book will help someone who is feeling down, or save a life that feels that there is no hope and no reason to keep on living. I want my readers to be blessed and so now I am thinking about how to get as many books as possible into the right hands.
So where do I go from here? I am reading my book again..looking any last minute items that might have been missed. Then I should be hearing from the Marketing Team from Tate Publishing. I am also going to host a Book Release Party once the book is officially released. I am already looking for a venue and getting my guest list ready.

ME - The Author
This is the cover for my book that I have coming in 2011 from Tate Publishing. I want to tell a story about the book and how it all began.
I got tired of hearing all the negativity in the media...another foreclosures, job loss, business closing... and it caught my attention. I know from experience that if you keep rehearsing negative things then eventually negative is all that will be produced. You see we are a "voice-activated" people. If we speak it..it will be.
As I prayed about this..of course I went to God, the only true source I know that is never caught up in the changes of time but it always consistent and sure.. and I got the idea to send emails to all my buddies to encourage them. I called it Words of Encouragements.
I did this for over one year. Unbelievable. And the response blew my mind. My email list grew and I was receiving back words of encouragement from people I did not even know. God is great.!!
This is how the book started. I submitted my manuscript to Tate Publishing and actually forgot about it. I knew the material was good but I also know how fierce a market publishing is. I was elated when they called me to say what I had submitted had caught their attention. God is great!!!
The Title I believe is God-sent. Literally. There are many winds blowing right now trying to take us away that we have to be strong and withstand it. Like winds of fear & unrest.
The staff at Tate are professional and they really helped me with the process. The whole process is long...but I know that this is going to help others and so I am patient.
So here we are. I am at the layout stage of the book. I should be getting it back by the end of this month and I will keep you guys posted. By then I will know the price. I am so excited. I can hardly wait.
It will be available for purchase online and at Borders and Amazon.
